Character Bio

Micah is Sarah Tate’s precocious young son. While he has never known his father, he has adapted well to a life hanging out with his mom and grandpa and is content playing soccer and video games. But when Jake arrives, Micah is happy to have a buddy to spend time with. He is infatuated but not starstruck, which comes as a bit of a surprise to the pro football player who is accustomed to worshiping fans. It’s Micah’s unique and unassuming demeanor that enables him to pursue relationships without pretence and allows him to ultimately become the catalyst for uniting the family.

Actor Bio

This young San Diego native launched his acting career at the age of six as Cooper Whedon on the TV series Brothers and Sisters. Soon after, Maxwell appeared in the TV movie Welcome to the Jungle Gym. He made his film debut a year later when he starred as Dennis in A Dennis the Menace Christmas. Other credits include the movies Like Dandelion Dust, Radio Free Albemuth, and Class. Maxwell recently acted alongside Jim Carrey as Billy in the big screen release, Mr. Popper’s Penguins.
