Character Bio

Frank is a strong, loving father who is proud of each of his sons. He’s done his best to raise his boys to be leaders and people of integrity – qualities he lauded on the field as their high school football coach. But Frank hasn’t always communicated his feelings or openly shared his support. As a result, past misunderstandings have created some distance within his family. After suffering a heart attack, Frank is reminded of the brevity of life and becomes more deliberate with sharing his emotions in an effort to reunite his family. As the Ruler archetype, Frank works to reestablish harmony within his family and leads Jake and Dean to reconcile their differences.

Actor Bio

Born in LA the son of actor Lloyd Bridges, Beau initially set out to be a professional basketball player. He played his freshmen year at UCLA before transferring to the University of Hawaii, where he ultimately hung up his sneakers to pursue a career in acting. Now a prolific actor in both film and television, some of Beau’s best-loved roles include Frank Baker in The Fabulous Baker Boys, Major General Henry Landry in the TV series Stargate SG-1, and BB Hensley in Max Payne. Beau’s also has had recurring roles in many TV series including My Name is Ear, Brothers and Sisters and NBC’s Love Bites. Beau is married to Wendy Treece and is the father of five children. He has had plenty of experience in coaching his kids.
